LANDSCAPE PLANNING |
|
|
Landvision advises the development industry on landscape
planning issues. We supply specialist technical landscape
input on a wide variety of commercial and domestic development
projects. After initial client consultation, we undertake
thorough analysis of client needs. We appraise the site. The
aims of the landscape brief are agreed and set, together with
a timescale for the work. We are in regular communication
with our clients until agreement of the landscape brief and
completion of the landscape project.
Landscape input on development projects includes work on
sensitive sites, within Green Belt, Areas of Outstanding Natural
Beauty and locally important landscapes such as Special Landscape
Areas, landscapes within or adjacent to Conservation Areas
or within the setting of Listed Buildings. All information
relating to mitigation of development's impact on the landscape
is submitted to support planning applications. Landscape input
can include preparation of landscape plans to support planning
applications. Landscape designs are often an integral part
of the planning application process. They are necessary to
satisfy landscape conditions. Landscape plans can include
detailed planting plans and landscape designs plus landscape
specifications.
Landvision has worked for residential developers
on brown field sites within towns and villages. We examine
the environmental impact of reuse of industrial sites for
residential development, dealing with such issues as contaminated
land, site screening, privacy, enhancement of the landscape.
We have also dealt with the regeneration of industrial estates
through landscape improvement schemes.
We prepare, put out to tender and award landscape contracts
for clients. You can contact us by email,
