Bats

The presence of species afforded special protection, such as the presence of bats, are a material consideration in determining a planning application. Where proposals affect a Site of Special Scientific Interest or SSSI, consultation with English Nature is required. Landvision can advise you and liaise with English Nature on your behalf. An Environmental Impact Assessment may be required and species surveys carried out prior to planning permission being obtained. When they are found in a dwelling house, their location must be reported to English Nature. It is an offence, to ill treat, kill, injure, sell or take any protected species or to damage or destroy their places of shelter; for specialist advice on bats and ecology;any mitigation measures required and a license obtained from English Nature; for information on bats, ecology and the law call Landvision on 01892 782200 or email; This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
