Landscape Management

Good site management is essential to continue the improvements brought about by judicious landscape design. Following the drawing up of biodiversity action plans, and after species surveys, management plans and recommendations are drawn up for habitats. These plans help to ensure that the needs of each individual species is taken care of, with special management for threatened species, or those with particular requirements. CABE has launched a green infrastructure website . You're free to have your say on our landvision blog or read more on this site my site

Landvision has a background in landscape ecology and management, with the firm belief that the right management can determine the long term success of the landscape scheme. The management plans are drawn up in consultation with the client. The Management Plans are clear and straightforward, as well as being practical. They can contain recommendations for certain areas to be left relatively undisturbed, to act as safe haven for wildlife, such as mammals and amphibians. Other areas where active management is required, such as rotational cutting, will allow habitats to be revitalised in a sensitive way, with a minimal impact on the local wildlife.
